Butter Crock

This butter crock is fantastic, its an amazing design which allows you to leave your butter on the counter.  It stays soft enough to spread and won't go rancid.  You fill the bottom with a 1/3 of cold water and a bit of salt. You fill the cup of the top with butter, make sure to push it in so that it sticks to the side.  The top and bottom form a vacuum that keeps the butter fresh. Just remember to change the water every few days.
