A pretty answer to an everyday kitchen nuisance. This little mushroom sits on the counter beside the fruit bowl, and fruit flies find their way in but can’t find their way out.

I paint each one by hand in my studio in Thornhill, Ontario, with florals and little bees, dragonflies and ladybugs, so it looks like something you chose for your kitchen rather than a trap.

How it works
Fill the base with apple cider vinegar. The scent draws fruit flies inside, and the shape keeps them there. Rinse and refill as needed.
